There will be a grand reception in Marlborough House and the High Commissioners of Pakistan and Afghanistan and the Ambassador of Nigeria have already accepted to attend and we are waiting to hear from the High Commissioner of India. In March there is something exceptional to attend on a Sunday 7th at the Grosvenor Chapel in South Audley Street in Mayfair, Calvin Wells-counter tenor or male soprano- and Charlotte Stephenson –mezzo-soprano with the Ensemble Serse will be Aminta & Fillide by G.F. Handel. At 4:30pm there will be a pre-concert talk followed by the performance at 5pm and conclude at 6:15 with a champagne reception, what a …PTO … nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon J…. On the 8th, the Arts Club celebrates its 147th anniversary and plans are already starting for a rather grand party in 2013 for is 150th , do ask me if you would like details on membership, I cherish this Club as my second home. www.theartsclub.co.uk

Jean-Paul Guillaume and I are doing a Belgian flavoured tour of London on Saturday 13th March and we can promise you lots of surprises (did you know that a Lord Mayor of London was Belgian?) and excitement followed by ‘Moules Frites’ on board the RS Hispaniola! In June, from the 18th to 20th June a visit to Brussels with a gala dinner at the exclusive Cercle Gaulois followed by a visit to the Magritte museum and other festivities in private and other venues.
